28/06/09 - Connecting People, Connecting Places

This week, Cllrs Roderick Bluh and Kevin Parry started off "Connecting People, Connecting Places' at Liden Centre.

Cllrs Roderick Bluh and Kevin Parry will be at Eldene Centre on Saturday 18th July 2009 between 10am and 12 noon to hear residents concerns and priorities in the Ward.

Cllr Roderick Bluh, "It was wonderful to spend a morning outside the shops listening to peoples views.  Residents were asked to prioritise their concerns in the Ward.  With a greater understanding we can get to work on resolving the issues.''

Cllr Kevin Parry, "We could not have asked for a better day.  I really enjoyed spending time with friends and residents in the Ward.  'Connecting People, Connecting Places will give residents a much greater input in how things are delivered.''
