12/12/09 - Swindon contunes its journey of Improvement

The strong leadership of the Conservative Council is continuing to deliver improvements to Swindon and its people.

The One Place survey has awarded Swindon a 3 out or 4 rating stating it is delivering good services and making good use of its resources.

Cllr Kevin Parry said "The dark old days of Labour with their 15% Council Tax rises and zero performance are long behind us. Swindon Borough Council has grown in strength each year under a Conservative administration".
