09/01/10 - Waste and Recycling Collections during Bad Weather

Some residents in Liden did not put out their recycling boxes yesterday and the refuse trucks, were indeed, unable to make it safely along the side roads.

Therefore, any recycling boxes should be taken back in until next week as the priority is being given to wheelie bin collections.

Full details of the current arrangements about refuse collections and other Council services can be found at www.swindon.gov.uk/environment/snow.htm
