Swindon 2010

Building A Better Swindon

Swindon Council has published details of 50 promises that have been made to the people of Swindon. Called 'Swindon 2010 - Taking Control of our Future', the 50 promises were launched in June and mailed to every household in the borough. The promises cover a five year period and the council is committed to delivering all the promises by 2010.

Cllr Rod Bluh, "It is only the Conservatives who have supported the ‘Swindon 2010, 50 Promises’ document. This is a clear and transparent document for local residents to see how we have pledged to drive up standards in Swindon Council. Local residents can review progress on an annual basis, making sure driving up the standards of service are always the key priority for Swindon Council.''
